Stonehammer Geo Park is a one hour drive from Woodhaven Country Lodge.
Stonehammer Geopark is a 2500km region in Southern New Brunswick with a geologic history going back 1 billion years!
Stonehammer UNESCO Global Geopark is located on the traditional unsurrendered and unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, Peskotomuhkatik and Mi’kmaq peoples. A series of Peace and Friendship Treaties recognizes the lands of these Wabanaki peoples and established decrees to ensure peace and ongoing relations between equal nations. The region today is home to many diverse First Nation, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
Originally located on the shores of Sandy Lake in Ontario, Canada, Woodhaven Country Lodge continues their twenty year history of hosting guests from their new home on the shores of the Passamaquoddy Bay, on the outskirts of St. Andrews, New Brunswick. New guests, returning guests, and their pets are always welcome at Woodhaven Country Lodge. Reserve your suite today!
